The Jets are in desperate need of a win after Tom Brady and the New England Patriots stunned them on Sunday Night Football last weekend. Denver, with quarterback Tim Tebow, have won two straight and can win the AFC West division. They are only a game behind the imploding San Diego Chargers.

New York (5-4 SU, 4-5 ATS) lost to the Patriots 37-16 and could not cash as a 1-point home favorite and the score was over the total of 47. Denver (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) beat AFC West division rival Kansas City Chiefs 17-10 on Sunday and cashed as a 3.5-point road underdog and the score was under the total of 42.5.

The Jets are 1-4 SU in their last 5 games on the road but are 14-7 SU in their last 21 games on the road. There is a major “over” trend as total has gone over in 11 of the Jets last 15 games overall and in 14 of the Jets last 16 games on the road.

NFL Picks stats show Denver is 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five games at home, and the total has gone over in five of Denver’s last five games at home.

Denver is 5-3 SU and ATS in the past eight meetings, and the teams last squared off on Oct. 17 last season, when the Jets won 24-20.

NCAAF Picks sets up the Western Michigan Broncos and the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks clashing Wednesday in a MAC conference matchup at Fred C. Yager Stadium (8 pm ET, ESPN).

Miami (Ohio) opened as a 3-point favorite in NCAAF Betting odds but the Redhawks have been bet down to -1.5. On the moneyline betting odds, the Redhawks are a -125 favorite and the Broncos are a +105 underdog. The over/under total is holding at the opening number of 58.5.

The Broncos (5-5 SU, 6-4 ATS) lost 66-63 against the Toledo Rockets in a shootout last Tuesday. Western Michigan cashed as a 12-point road underdog and the score was over the total of 71. The Redhawks (4-6 SU, 6-4 ATS) lost 24-21 against the Temple Owls last Wednesday. The Redhawks covered as a 13-point road underdog, while the score was over the total of 45.

The head-to-head numbers between Western Michigan and Miami (Ohio) may not help College Football Betting fans too much in this matchup, because the amount of time between meetings makes them almost irrelevant. But one useful point is the fact that this is the first matchup between the Broncos and Redhawks in Oxford since 2001. So it may be that the Redhawks will get some extra incentive from that, knowing they are hosting the Broncos for the first time in a decade.
