Kansas City is 4-5 SU and 5-4 ATS. The Chiefs lost 17-10 against the Denver Broncos last Sunday. They failed to cover as a 3.5–point home favorite and the score was under the total of 42.

New England is 6-3 straight up and 5-4 against the point spread. The Patriots beat AFC East rival New York Jets 37-16 on Sunday Night Football. The Patriots covered as a 1-point road underdog, while the score was over the total of 47. Patriots’ pivot Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns.

Head-to-head, New England is 5-3 SU and ATS in the past eight meetings. The teams last met on Sept. 7, 2008, when the Patriots won 17-10 but failed to cash as a 16-point home favorite. The score was under the total of 43.

NFL Betting sets up the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants meeting on Sunday Night Football in a battle of NFC East division rivals at MetLife Stadium (8:20 pm ET, NBC).

NFL Picks at the Greatest Sports Picks have the Giants as a 5-point, -250 moneyline favorite, and the Eagles a +200 moneyline underdog. The over/under total is at 46.

The Eagles (3-6 SU, 3-6 ATS) were beaten 21-17 by the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday in a game in which they were 12.5-point home favorites. The score was under the total of 47.5. The Giants (6-3 SU, 4-4-1 ATS) lost 27-20 against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday and could not cover as a 4–point road underdog. The score was over the total of 43.5.

Philadelphia is 6-4 straight up and against the point spread in the past 10 head-to-head meetings, but the Giants won the first meeting of the season, beating Philly 29-16 on Sept. 25. New York covered the spread as a 7.5-point road underdog and the score was under the total of 46.5. The Eagles and Giants split their two meetings last season, with Philadelphia cashing in both games. But the Eagles are 5-1 SU in the last six meetings in New York.

NFL Handicapper betting fans will note that there is an “over” trend in recent games, as the total has gone over in eight of Philadelphia’s last 10 games on the road and in four of the Giants last five games at home.

The Jets are in desperate need of a win after Tom Brady and the New England Patriots stunned them on Sunday Night Football last weekend. Denver, with quarterback Tim Tebow, have won two straight and can win the AFC West division. They are only a game behind the imploding San Diego Chargers.

New York (5-4 SU, 4-5 ATS) lost to the Patriots 37-16 and could not cash as a 1-point home favorite and the score was over the total of 47. Denver (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) beat AFC West division rival Kansas City Chiefs 17-10 on Sunday and cashed as a 3.5-point road underdog and the score was under the total of 42.5.

The Jets are 1-4 SU in their last 5 games on the road but are 14-7 SU in their last 21 games on the road. There is a major “over” trend as total has gone over in 11 of the Jets last 15 games overall and in 14 of the Jets last 16 games on the road.

NFL Picks stats show Denver is 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five games at home, and the total has gone over in five of Denver’s last five games at home.

Denver is 5-3 SU and ATS in the past eight meetings, and the teams last squared off on Oct. 17 last season, when the Jets won 24-20.

NCAAF Picks sets up the Western Michigan Broncos and the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks clashing Wednesday in a MAC conference matchup at Fred C. Yager Stadium (8 pm ET, ESPN).

Miami (Ohio) opened as a 3-point favorite in NCAAF Betting odds but the Redhawks have been bet down to -1.5. On the moneyline betting odds, the Redhawks are a -125 favorite and the Broncos are a +105 underdog. The over/under total is holding at the opening number of 58.5.

The Broncos (5-5 SU, 6-4 ATS) lost 66-63 against the Toledo Rockets in a shootout last Tuesday. Western Michigan cashed as a 12-point road underdog and the score was over the total of 71. The Redhawks (4-6 SU, 6-4 ATS) lost 24-21 against the Temple Owls last Wednesday. The Redhawks covered as a 13-point road underdog, while the score was over the total of 45.

The head-to-head numbers between Western Michigan and Miami (Ohio) may not help College Football Betting fans too much in this matchup, because the amount of time between meetings makes them almost irrelevant. But one useful point is the fact that this is the first matchup between the Broncos and Redhawks in Oxford since 2001. So it may be that the Redhawks will get some extra incentive from that, knowing they are hosting the Broncos for the first time in a decade.

The Broncos have been struggling away from home at 1-5 SU in their last six on the road and while the Redhawks are 8-3 SU in their last 11 games at home.

NCAAF Betting stats show the head-to-head series has been dominated by Northern Illinois, at least straight up. The Huskies are 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS in the past 10 meetings. In the conference foes last meeting on Nov. 20 last season, the Huskies routed the Cardinals 59-21 and cashed as a 15.5-point road favorite. Northern Illinois took the score over the total of 53 by itself.

Ball State is just 6-12 SU in its last 18 games on the road, while Northern Illinois is 13-2 SU in its last 15 games at home.
